Cancellation Policy
NJTD is dedicated to providing flexible, high-quality services to our clients. To ensure fair scheduling and availability, we ask that you review and follow the policies outlined below when booking or canceling services. Booking Policy: Scheduling: All services, including therapy sessions and consultations, must be booked in advance via email, phone, or our online booking system. Confirmation: Once booked, you will receive a confirmation email with session details. Please check the date, time, and method (in-person or virtual) for accuracy. Rescheduling Policy: Notice: You may reschedule without penalty by providing at least 48 hours’ notice before the appointment. Late Rescheduling: If a rescheduling request is made with less than 48 hours’ notice, it will be treated as a late cancellation and may incur the full session fee unless there are extenuating circumstances. Cancellation Policy: Notice: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled session. Cancellations made with proper notice will not incur a fee. Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session will result in the full session fee being charged. No-Shows: If you miss a session without notifying us, it will be considered a "no-show" and the full fee will be applied. Multiple Cancellations: Cancellation Fee: If you cancel more than two sessions within a 30-day period, a $100 cancellation fee will be charged, even if notice is given. This policy ensures fair availability for all clients. Emergency Cancellations: We understand that emergencies happen. In such cases, please contact us immediately. Fee waivers may be granted on a case-by-case basis for emergencies. Retainer Clients: For clients with a retainer package, the same cancellation and rescheduling policies apply. Missed or late-canceled sessions cannot be carried over to the next period, but we will work to reschedule within the current period when proper notice is given.
